Tatcha Luminous silk

Categories Make-Up, Product Review

Who else raves about having a dolly look like skin after you have already applied your makeup? Of course we all girls do.

We should give emphasis to Japanese women who all seem to possess the glowing, porcelain skin which we are envious. Also Science has proven theres no specific beauty gene. Meaning, glowing porcelain skin can be achieved by anyone. Its not not our fault that we were not born as Japanese to have this “like a lit-from-within skin”. But not to worry girls.

With the help of a few beauty rituals like from green tea, to serious bathing and lastly the power of makeup. I will share you the only makeup product you need to have that skin so smooth and its like there is a lit-from-within skin .

What it is:

A silky liquid spray on moisturizer of Squalane, Red Algae and our anti-aging HADASEI-3 Complex. Can be misted for a boost of soothing hydration, resulting in dewy, luminous skin anytime, anywhere.

Why is it different:
This milky emulsion contains moisturizers and humectants that leave skin rehydrated. Can be used to refresh bare skin or cosmetics throughout the day, without buildup or residue, instantly softening and smoothing without streaking or disturbing makeup. It does not contain high levels of alcohol and fragrance found in conventional hydrating sprays, which can dry out the skin.

Who it’s for:
Ideal for any skin type.

Ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Squalane (Olive Origin), Cyclopentasiloxane, Propanediol, Triethylhexanoin,Camellia Japonica Seed Oil,Inositol (Rice Extract),Algae Extract,Sericin (Silk Extract),Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract,Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ Oil,Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract,Chondrus Crispus (Red Algae) Extract,Panax Ginseng Root Extract,Royal Jelly Extract,Zizyphus Jujuba Fruit Extract,Thymus Serpillum (Thyme) Extract,Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract,Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate, PPG-5-ceteth-10 Phosphate, Trideceth-12, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sorbitan Stearate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Behenyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Fragrance (Natural),Sodium Hyaluronate,Alcohol,Phenoxyethanol.

At first I was hesitant to buy this due to the tons of oils you will see on the first 5 Ingredients :Squalane (Olive Origin), Propanediol,Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ Oil but this product works well on normal to oily combination skin. But by looking those beauty gurus who are constantly raving about Tatcha Luminous silk and so I decided to invest on it and oh boy they were all correct.

But it worked well on my skin normal to oily on the T zone combination skin. In fact it lasted on my face without touch ups for almost 6 hrs.

Here is a detail close up of the product

Side note: The first picture was using my canon camera then it died hahah so iI used my phone camera. Was in a hurry due to we are going to leave for a Sunday mass.

Final Verdict:

I’ve already used up 1 bottle and repurchased another one. It is worth every penny in my opinion. I’ve also tried cheaper alternatives which I will make a comparison blog between the drugstore brand vs the famous expensive Tatcha Luminous silk. its major rivalry but nothing beats this. I find that this product doesn’t just make your skin look glowy, it also moisturize and works within. If you have a sephora near you or a place where you can sample this, try to spray it on your face just so you can test it out before you actually buy it. But in my case, I bought this without testing it and I ended up loving it and it has been a staple in my makeup bag cause I spray it whenever i feel dull 🙂
