Cuticle oil

Here are Dashing Diva’s and Nature Republic’s cuticle oil review:

So just a background, It was my pedicurist at Dashing Diva who told me that you don’t need to remove a whole lot of cuticle on each your nail bed, you can just snip off the sides. Also, some of you who doesn’t know, cuticle oils can be used as cuticle remover (special thanks to Dashing Diva for teaching me that and for always giving me a fabulous pedicure.) I like using cuticle oils because it moisturizes my feet, specifically the dry skin on my toe nails. It tool me weeks before I decided to buy Dashing Diva’s cuticle oil. I find it a little bit expensive but I still gave in so I have something to replace my old cuticle oil from JERICHO that was included in the manicure kit I bought.

Splurge: CND SOLAR OIL

Award-winning cuticle oil is infused with jojoba oil and vitamin E. Repeated use drives nutrients in deeper, creating stronger, healthier nails and hydrated cuticle area. SolarOil™ should be used with ANY nail service.

Tip: Use this while your cleaning your nail bed. I make sure I put some every night on all my toe nails and fingernails.

Texture: A normal oil type but thicker than the Nature republic cuticle oil (see below).

Scent: Sunflower oil

Price: Pricey for a cuticle oil. 600 php

I decidedly to buy another cuticle oil from Nature’s Republiq (Korean Brand) so I can help my readers choose the best one for them. I want to make sure you’ll have a choice between a more expensive product from a cheaper one (without sacrificing quality).

 Save: Nature Republic Cuticle Oil

(sorry guys I can’t find substantial info from their website)

What I love about this product is that all of Nature’s Republic polish brushes are comparable to DIOR and Chanel polish brush. It is wide and very nice to use.

Texture: The consistency is not watery but it feels lighter than the CND Solar oil.

Scent: Smells like car perfumes.

Price: Cheap at 200 php

Overall Rating:

It’s the same with moisturizing effect except for the price and the scent. If you will just look at the price difference you may want to get the Nature republic Cuticle oil. But I prefer the scent of the CND Solar oil even though both scent are very subtle.
